This proverb neatly encompasses the goals of a Montessori education. Our role in your child’s life, and your family’s future, is more than just delivering a curriculum – it’s developing well-rounded and confident young adults who enter the world ready and able to embrace their full potential.
To achieve this, we never forsake the importance of the leadership, guidance and mentorship children learn at home, and we work to incorporate all our school families into our community in many different ways, including:
Celebrations and recognitions of important cultural events and student milestones so all students can be exposed to different cultural practices and learn to honour and respect them
Opportunity to observe in your child’s classroom once a term to support you understand your child’s academic, social and emotional progress
Regular on-campus events where our families can meet each other, learn from their children and share experiences
Involvement in extracurricular activities with peers from our school, other regional Montessori schools, and our surrounding community that broaden our students’ social circles and expose them to people from different areas and backgrounds.
Going beyond the classroom, with regular excursions to local parks, weekly sports, and local and regional camps that take our students into the ‘real’ community.
The school regularly holds parent education evenings to support your understanding of Montessori education and child development.
There are frequent community events for our families to socialise together as we believe that a school should be part of the wider community.
Meet our amazing teachers.
Our teachers are fully trained in Montessori practices and NESA qualified and passionate about helping each and every one of our students to meet their full potential.
It’s impossible to gain a feel for the welcoming and open community we’ve built without experiencing it for yourself.
You are very welcome to join one of our Campus Tours, where you can immerse yourself in our community, meet our teachers and students, see inside our classrooms and observe the methods that make our school so special.
